Saigon Maritime Public Limited Company (short name SHC) has officially incorporated and launched its operations from April 15, 2002, creating a new incentive for its employees toward an exciting & dynamic decade of growth and stability.
From a state-owned enterprise, the company has been successfully equitized with 60% of the shares owned by the company's members. Among other shareholders, VINALINES accounts for about 20%, while most of the remaining 20% was sold to the company's local and overseas partners.
SHC has been found to conform to the Quality System Stand ISO 9001-2000, that is certified by DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV) - Certificate No 2221 - 2005 - AQ - SIN - UKAS.
"Think ahead - Move forward" is the slogan of SHC.
SHC is member of VINALINES, VISABA, VIFFAS and HCMC Transport Association.
Saigon Maritime PLC. officially listed to securities market on 15 August 2006 at HCMC STC.
